I had two wisdom teeth out on thursday and am still very swollen and sore. so far (in 3 days) I have eaten one small bowl of soup, one banana cut up very small, 3 digestive biscuits dunked in tea, and a mouthful of mashed potato. I am anow starving but cannot fathom any soft/mushy food I fancy.

I normally eat loads of strong flavours and spicy things and could not bear a bowl of soggy weetabix. has anyone got any ideas?

My sympathies - I had mine out when I was 15. I remember lasting for several days on Farleys Rusks! After that my mum just liquidised all the family meals for me and I sort of slurped my way through them blush

houmous straight from the pot
baba ganoush
pesto is good mixed into mash
or roast some garlic in its skins and mix the squeezed-out innards with mash, or the inside of a jacket spud
any old pulses (cannelinni or borlotti are good) heated through and bashed with a potato masher - add pepper and ev olive oil
