The dds had their dinner at school, and as SAHM (only since last week) it is now my job to make tea, but I'm fast running out of ideas! Usual fare so far has been - pasta, cheese on toast, boiled eggs, scones etc - any more simple ideas I can cook up with (fairly) basic ingredients?

Dh usually does kitchen stuff....helllllllllllpp....

Baked potatoes with any kind of filling - cheese, beans, tuna.
Simple rice dishes - paella (with ham, prawns, frozen peas etc.) I have a recipe if you think they'd like that.
Pizza - you can buy pizza base mix or ready made bases and they can make their own pizzas - mine like doing that.
Poached eggs, scrambled eggs - with things other than toast for a change: potato cakes or muffins.
Tortilla wraps with savoury fillings.
Sausage and mash!

Will post again if more come to me!

corn on the cob to start with then a peanut butter sandwich, carrot sticks, cucumber and piece of cheese.

Very popular at Enid Cottage.

and if you do corn on the cob you need to invest in the little green holdy things from the Lakeland catalogue - brilliant

Wraps filled with baked beans and grated cheese and rolled up. Yummy boys just had it for tea tonight.
