Swimming Pool Cake

My dd would like a swimming pool cake for birthday and i am looking for some ideas inspiration please have googled didn't find much.

but there are loads on Google

blue jelly or blue buttercream on a plain sponge sounds easiest, but I rather like the ones with he tiled surrounds done in sweets thus.
The 'water' doesn't have to be deep, just a thin layer - use playmobil or lego people with legs removed for swimmers
