I bought all the ingredients ready for them tonight (well the ready-made stuff anyway !!!) DDs never touched their tea so I put them to bed early. Dh and I are stuffed from tea and have decided to wait until tomorrow and have them with dds then instead. Ah well!

We are pancaked out... pancakes with lemon and sugar at tea time (after school) and then pancakes stuffed with vegetables and a cheese sauce for dinner.

Yes and they were yummy - I had 3 and could have eaten 3 more but there was no batter left. And I made double the recipe. Might make some more at the weekend.

Let mine have pancakes only for tea - with melted choc, icecream, banana, syrup, lemon & sugar on table. (They had school lunch today). DD had 6!! (large) & pronounced me best mum

Nope. DH made a fab chilli and we're having pancakes at the weekend.

no, had them on 2nd of February like a good french girl that I am (it's a french tradition, La Chandeleur)
Today it's Mardi Gras so should have been making doughnut type things (like 'bugnes', delicious........) but no time so will make them tomorrow.
Love all these traditions

Yep had them and my boys astounded me. Both will eat ANYTHING but both also at that 'awkward' age where they won't each 'much' of anything unless they love it.

DS1 (4yrs and a particularly 'picky' eater) had 2 with cheese, ham, mushrooms and onion in, followed by one with honey

DS2 (14montsh and "I want to feed myself with a fork and if I can't I'll go hungry" age) had a whole one with ham, cheese, mushrooms and onion!!!
