I bought some frozen chicken MONTHS ago...Just found it at the bottom of the freezer and the use by date was the end of last month (thats the actual frozen use by date too).

My mum reckons it will still be ok to defrost and eat as its frozen. Will it?

I know blush I'm terrible, I'm trying to stop wasting so much so have been digging around in the depths of the cupboards and doubt I'll be asking about 5 year old pasta in a few minutes grin

It won't hurt you if it's been in the freezer. Frozen food doesn't go 'off' it jsut loses flavour and goes rather unpleasent. It's not too far over neither, so will probably be fine.
