aha, with some of Carmenere's cans of prosecco.

Cans of prosecco? is that a posh wino thing? do you sit on benches necking prosecco instead of White Lightning? grin

waitinonasunnyday Mon 21-Jul-08 22:51:52

I find bread keeps better in the fridge,is this strange?

harpomarx Mon 21-Jul-08 22:52:54

probably not - just seems a bit cold to me!

Carmenere Mon 21-Jul-08 22:58:40

They are cans of Lidl prosecco, they cost 1.49 and are very handy if you want a quick bellini whilst cooking the dinner but don't want to open a whole bottlegrin

harpomarx Mon 21-Jul-08 22:59:56

am loving the idea of a quick bellini while cooking the dinner!

amongst other things, my fridge tonight holds trifle, cake, calamine lotion, an old black and white film and some cat food.

There are some vegetable type things in there too, and a surplus of condiments.

anyway, is this a competition or something? to see if we can remember what's in our fridge? sort of like the conveyor belt on the Generation Game. Who's the judge and what's the prize then?

LOl @ Harpo

Erm eggs, milk, cheese, muller fromage frais, a smidgen of garlic roulade, a very suspicious cucumber (could explode at any moment!), live yoghurt... a cuddly toy?

harpomarx Mon 21-Jul-08 23:09:27

well, I suspect you looked trefusis....

you have an unfeasibly good recollection of the contents of your fridge grin.

salad stuff, chicken drumsticks, prawns, milk, eggs and various half eaten sauces

we are on a diet

harpomarx Mon 21-Jul-08 23:20:38

ok, trefusis, you can have the cuddly toy. But only if you swap fridge contents with me.

what's the matter, trefusis, you don't like calamine lotion and cat food?
