defrosting chicken question

I put my ds food in the fridge yesterday to defrost as I was going to give for tea, but we ended up going out. Can he have it for tea tonight???? it's chick, potatoe and milk.

yes as long as it's cooked through again until piping hot (and cooled down again for him)
