green olives
they'll never get eaten (bought by my father on his last visit I think and left behind). We're not big olive eaters but I'll eat stuff where they are a main ingredient.

Any thoughts?

Other ingredients I have lots of are: courgette (x 100 ), onion, beetroot, potato, cabbage

Pasta sauce with olives, onions and courgettes in it? You could make loads and freeze it?

and I can't face chucking them away (too much of a waste), I can't give them to the chickens (too salty), and live too far from anyone to give them away

that is actually a nice simple idea, LMDFJ
pasta sauce is always useful and if I puree it down even DH will eat it without noticing the olives (too much)

let's talk about pasta sauce for ages until that spam tosser is eradicated!

might start some more spurious threads, too.

I made a huge batch of pasta sauce recently and it's so blinking useful - froze loads of tiny portions for DS and larger ones for us, and it's a million times cheaper than jars.

I'm going for some sort of good housekeeping star....

...got lot of jars of 'stuff' to clear out of the fridge...could start new threads on all of them...

oh yes - individual threads for tiny bowl of poo like substance.

at least a lot of mine look like tiny bowls of poo. Except the onion sauce.
