I'm going to make my ever popular lime cheesecake for a party on Saturday. It is very calorific and was wondering what I could, if anything, substitute the mascarpone with.Ingredients areginger biscuitsbuttermascarponeicing sugarlime juicechocolate.Or should I not bother, considering how high in calories the rest of it is can someone give me the low fat alternative to the above ingredients <sigh, it won't taste the same will it> ignore me
Philly lite will do it BUT I always think, why mess with perfection, just have a smaller slice.
does it taste the same? Wouldn't I need to add more sugar?thanks btw
Philadelphia Lite is rank. I'd say make the proper cheesecake.
you are right of course Carmenere, I should just not have it, though I will have to do a taste test. It will be hard to resist temptation though. It's a pimms and cake afternoon, i'm doomed!
Just give yourself a day off and enjoy it.
how many days can one have in a week though pmsl. I will stuff myself with fruit before I go and fizzy drink. It was worth a try, thanks all
