Calling all curry experts!

I have some home-made dahl in the freezer and was wondering if there are any lentil based curries that I can use it for, rather than just having it as a side dish.

I know dhansak is lentil based but can't find a decent recipe - if anyone has one, or any others then I'd appreciate them!

eat it with rice, or pitta bread. wonderful, cheap nutritious vegetarianmeal
add a can of mackerel to it. i always buy themackerelin tomato, delicious

I would just improvise - get some boneless chicken and chop it up. Fry it up, add a chopped onion and fry a bit longer. Add a chopped/crushed clove of garlic, some chopped ginger, 1 or 2 teaspoons of curry powder and fry a little longer. Then add the thawed-out dhal + a bit of stock/water. Simmer for about 30 mins without a lid on.
