I feel in need of some serious sugar (wonder if I am due on?)

If I do shall I make some plain & some chocolate or some plain and some apicot

Ho hum - what a choice

When it comes to fudge, I don't believe you can really consider the scenario in terms of too much sugar.

I would just keep making fudge and giving it away until you are spent.

No. Here it is: In a large pan, melt 185g unsalted butter with 600g golden icing cane sugar and 1 tbsp vanilla extract, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and spead the mixture into a 21cm square cake tin lined with clingfilm. Leave to set on the side for 2 hours and divide into squares.

2lbs sugar
1 can evap
8oz butter

Then add cocoa (about 2oz) when it's cooked
