Homemade fish pie, a freezing question.
(13 Posts)The fish was frozen raw, I cooked it and there's a big enough portion left to freeze. That's OK isn't it? Ta!
Yes, freeze it Mo.
In my house there wouldn't be any left .
Fish pie is top.
Yes. Tis fine.
(Hi there Mo)
I make a lovely fish pie with puree'd leeks in it
Yum
Thanyou, lovely ladies! It's unusually here tbh, which is why I wasn't sure! Its the first time I've ever made it! Twas lovely and definately on the list of food to make again. DD wasn't keen, which is also unusual. I guess that's why there's a bit left!
Are you both well?
Tip top, thanks, Mo
Have a peek at my profile when you get a minute
Oh look, another of my favourite mners! Just like buses, don't see you for ages, then 3 come along together! Are you well too Katy?
Yes, as the others said it's fine!
Any raw previously frozen ingredients that are then cooked can be frozen again cooked.
I just made dauphinoise <snooty> or dolphin-nose as dd labelled it
but yes you can freeze fish pie
OK (ish)
Taken on a late finisher (stupid me) so I'm still at work
DD (10) is off to bed and mindee (8) is still here
Oh blimey, Katy! That's a bit of PITA, but needs must, I guess.
What am I looking at on your profile Ju?
So broke atm
Sorry, had to go out and break some bad news to a family member.
Look at the Blue Lagoon Mo, lovely to look at, and swim in, until the bastard jellyfish got me. Twice.
