follow on milk.....yes or no!!?

is it worth swapping dd (11.5mth) onto follow on milk? what is the difference? i was just going to put her on cows milk in a couple of weeks...what do you think?

Would n't bother tbh unless you plan to delay introduction of cow's milk. There is very little difference apart from the fact that manufacturers can advertise it, as it is not viewed as a direct replacement for breastfeeding by Govt.

Go straight to cows milk, I did the day ds hit 12 months. Never had any problems with transition etc.

Would just go straight on to cows milk. Think follow on milk is a marketing ploy.

ok thanks everyone, thats what i thought but just wanted to check, dd has been having wholemilk yogurts etc so i know she will be fine, i have half tin of milk left once that is gone i will start her on cows milk i think (she 1 on 26th)
