What to do with leftover Yorkshire puds for a late night snack

DD's bf works evenings from home in a very cold attic (at least its not the cupboard under the stairs)

And is always hungry afterwards

So I have 6 Yorkshire puds left but not gravy - what veggie thing can be made?

He is a competent cook so just needs an idea/recipe and I have meal idea fatigue after planning next week's food

Spread em with jam!

Or for savoury fill with mustard Mayo and ham/sliced meat.

Fill with baked beans and some cheese then grill

(I understand this might seem disgusting Grin)

Not exactly a nutritious dinner - but clotted cream or vanilla ice- cream, drizzled lavishly with golden syrup is the best. Squirty cream just about acceptable if that’s all you have.
Or lemon juice and sugar, as per pancakes. It’s the same mixture, after all.

Hr is grateful for the suggestions esp @Fivemoreminutes1's brie one

He is more of a savory person but I might revisit some of the more delicious sweet versions myself

I am being a bit of a cow and insisting that leftovers all get eaten rather than new food being cooked (for the fourth meal of the day) but I cant help feeling a bit more planning needs to be done rather than the quickest easiest option

IMHO v wise to get our dc generation to focus on good housekeeping/ reducing waste.
I keep telling mine that I'm saving the planet for their generation Grin
But of course the mental load falls to us...
In this case I'd fill with any leftovers but would actually make a small amount of extra gravy Smile unless there's nothing leftover in which case eggs (scrambled) are perfect

They were a big hit filled with veggie mince ( or f-ince.....in our house we also have f-icken but never f-uck) and extra gravy

Thanks all

In our house, any left over yorkies (was a very rare thing) were smothered in golden syrup!

I realise too late now, but for next time, I save some mix in the fridge to make breakfast crepes for the kids - I usually do grated gruyere and slivers of ham with a bit of butter, which goes down well!
