Start using Mumsnet PremiumI just tried making these spinach pancakes for my 7 month old DS, who has recently started weaning: mummytodex.com/blw-spinach-pancakes/
I greased the frying pan by pouring a bit of sunflower oil into it, then wiping it around the pan with some kitchen towel to leave a light layer. I then poured the batter in and let it cook but when I came to flip it, it was stuck fast.
Any tips/advice?
A bit more oil, and is your pan non stick?
Did you let the pan get hot before you poured the batter in? Also, don't attempt to flip it before small bubbles start to appear on the surface.
A better pan.
