What do you put on your porridge?

In my house, it's officially porridge season grin

I normally have it with blueberries and almonds, or banana (and sometimes banana, walnuts and maple syrup when I'm feeling indulgent!)

Any other ideas? What do you add on yours? Only thing I wouldn't like is chocolate as it's too sickly first thing in the morning.

Blackberries and maple syrup. Healthy!
Brown sugar and cream. Not healthy!

Raisins, mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower etc), peanut butter, maybe a banana if I'm famished. Ooh cinnamon's nice too, if out of peanut butter - I'm not sure those go together...

Greek yoghurt, raspberries, strawberries and blueberries.

Handful of frozen mixed berries during cooking so the oats absorb some of the berry juice.

I’ve made a cherry Bakewell one before with almond milk, almond extract and cherries

literategiraffe Fri 04-Sep-20 18:42:35

Just milk and then a sprinkle of salt!

fretnot Fri 04-Sep-20 18:42:45

Half a scoop of vanilla protein powder mixed in before cooking then I add blueberries, a banana, some chopped dates and some sugar free butterscotch syrup - keeps me going all day till dinner (I use 30g of oats)

Knittedfairies Fri 04-Sep-20 18:51:45

Muscovado sugar (or I would if Asda would send me some...) and milk.

Proudpeacock Fri 04-Sep-20 18:53:21

Honey for me, or golden syrup!!

Honey, or mashed banana and peanut butter for the toddler.

It’s really yummy made in a Nutella jar that’s pretty much finished 🥰

Iminaglasscaseofemotion Fri 04-Sep-20 18:57:26

Coconut milk, crushed almonds and honey.

whirlwindwallaby Fri 04-Sep-20 18:58:23

Blackberries, or blueberries when the blackberry stash runs out, mixed seeds, then sliced banana and butter on top.
