Easy to cook meat

I am after idea for different meats that are easy to cook. I always do stews, bolognaise, that kind of 'all in the pan' thing and I wanted some simple meat to go on the plate as it is. I'm veggie and I have no experience cooking these things, but I want DS to eat something other than sausages with his veg.

Pork chops - just stick them under the grill. Chicken breast you can do in a bag with veggies and some liquid - very easy.

Sunshinemummy...can you explain what you mean about the chicken in a bag?

I always consider pork chops to be tough. DS struggles with chicken sometimes (probably my awful cooking that makes it tough), so I have never tried pork.

Can i do them on the griddle pan?

chicken thighs and wings have more fat on them then breast so they are less likely to get tough

meat balls
Lamb chops (not as tough as pork)
Gammon steak (yummy with cheese sauce)
Duck breast (griddled)
Home made chicken nuggets
Home made burgers

OK make a bag from foil or greaseproof paper (two pieces crossed over). Put in chicken, veg (we normally do stuff like mangetout, carrots and baby sweetcorn but you could use anything). Add any other flavours you like like herbs or lemon juice. Then put in a cup of liquid such as wine or stock. Close up bag and roast in over on 190 for about 20-25 mins (you can do this with fish as well but roast for longer). When done check it's cooked and then pour all out onto plate. Perfect boil in the bag (actually it steams so is lovely and healthy).
