Today a baked a banana loaf using bananas that had split their skin. I didn't think anything about it, but my friend has told me that I shouldn't use bananas that have split. What would you do, eat it or throw it away as its going to make us ill? If it helps, the bananas were in a sealed bag before I used them.

What's wrong with split bananas? I eat them like that. What's going to happen to me?

It will be fine. I use very black bananas and some that have split. Only ones I don't use are the mouldy ones 🤢
