Wondering if anyone had some inspiration on healthy meals for my picky family! We're getting bored of having the same things all the time
DP won't eat avocado, mushrooms. Zucchini
I don't eat fish or pork
We like Chinese and Indian inspired dishes and love a takeaway but we are in the process of loosing weight.
Has anyone got any suggestions or inspiration because I'm fed up of recycling the same 3 meals all the time

Fajitas are easy, healthy and delicious. Tortilla wraps (store bought or home made). Salsa, guacamole and natural yoghurt(instead of sour cream). Filling is a quick stir fry of onions, capsicum and paneer/ chicken strips with some Mexican spice.
On a similar vein - tacos. Refried beans with Mexican spice. Lots of chopped up salady items (lettuce, tomato, carrots, grated carrots etc). Same sauces as for fajitas. Use hard taco shells or soft tacos (tortillas again).

Try having a look at Jamie Oliver's website - there are quite a few recipes on there - or why not look at BBC Good Food?

Sticky chicken from slimming world. I add onion and broccoli to the marinade. It's even yummier with chicken thighs.

Vegetable or chicken stir fry?

We do a version of chicken biryani, but again add green pepper to it with the onion.

baked Indian chicken is fab with Jamie's easy flatbreads.

We also eat wraps, pasta bolognese, fish a couple of times a week, roast chicken, rest of chicken turned into risotto, toad in the hole, sausage tray bakes, chicken thigh/drumstick tray bakes, homemade pizza- although not too often at the moment, as yeast is hard to find, and flour very patchy.

What are your 3 meals?

Thanks all. My three meals are

Chicken salad (normally with a Nando's sauce which is surprisingly very low calories 😂)

Gammon - slow cooked either alone or with coke which lasts 3 meals or so. Served with cous cous stuffed peppers or jacket potato

Homemade burgers (just mince in burger shapes!) with salad

Not very exciting!

Realised I should've specified with pork! I don't like pork unless it's gammon!! No idea why just never have

How about chicken and veg skewers, I often use paprika but if you want a bit of spice use a rub like Cajun or similar. Then add veg to your tastes, peppers, red onion and cherry tomatoes work well. Either grill, bake or bbq

As a variation on burgers, what about lamb koftas?

You could do lower fat versions of curries if you like spice. I love making yellow Thai chicken curry. Made with coconut milk and red chillies it's beautifully fragrant and not too high calorie, I often make a soup version and serve with rice noodle (vermicelli)

Maybe a roasted veggie quinoa salad? I have use peppers, sweet potato, onions and courgette, but you could use whatever you have in the fridge, slug of olive oil, garlic, thyme and rosemary, paprika and cumin. Roast in oven for 35 mins, serve with quinoa.

Or Spanish chorizo, peppers and cannellini beans with veg?

Thai beef salad is beautiful and really zingy with lime and herb dressing
