Gluten & dairy free ready meals

Not sure if this is the correct place but I am shopping for someone who really should be gluten & dairy free. In the past I know they have not followed the diet correctly and become quite unwell. She really needs support cooking but as this isn't possible at the moment a microwaveable ready meal would seem like the best option.
Any suggestions of stores or particular brands that would have a good selection.

I'm dairy free but not gluten free - I really like the Bol ready meals/salad pots/soup pots and I think there's ricey ones which would be gluten free.

Tesco do quite a lot of ' free from' stuff, there may well be gluten and dairy free options there?

Schär make good quality gluten free breads and baked goods, many of which are vegan and should be suitable. Sainsbury's have frozen lentil patties which are dairy free - with a Schär burger bun and some veg that could make for a snacky meal. The Amy's Kitchen line have a number of GF options with the vegan ones dairy free as well.

They have a vast range and you can tick to have gluten and dairy free. Also puree, soft foods, large or small serves etc. They are slightly more than a supermarket ready meal, but SO many more options.

If you have trouble finding full meals you can try putting a few things together. Microwaveable rice with ready cooked meat or fish (eg hot smoked salmon), microwaveable veggies, falafel and hummus, sandwiches or toast, carrot batons with tinned tuna.

How about fish pie or shepherds pie? You would just need to make sure that anything like stock cubes are gluten free.

Does she like curry too? I'm DF and love curry and rice.

Oh and stew with olive oil mash, agai you'd need to make sure the stew was DF & GF. Those little buggers get into everything Grin

Hello,

Have you thought about baking with gluten free flour?

It's not something I've tried but I'm interested to hear how it worked for anyone?

Thanks.
