Fresh Yeast

I've been given a block of fresh yeast as I haven't been able to get the sachets of dried.

Can anyone advise on how to use it and how much to use instead of a 7g packet of dried in a recipe?

I just get about a teaspoon of the fresh yeast and a small pinch of sugar and make it into a paste with a dash of water.
