Used to eat chicken whole/thighs/ breasts at least 2-3 xs per week. Now I can't get any at all in any supermarket! Who has taken all the chicken??!! Have you got it?! Sad
The thought of a chicken curry or a roast seems like a distant memory!

I’ve been going to the local butcher but noticed Sainsburys is starting to have some in again

Probably sounds really mean but the same people stockpiling food and toilet rolls are the same ones stockpiling chicken. Probably because they don't know how to cook anything else (notice that chicken wings, legs etc are usually left, again because people don't know how to cook them) also able to get beef and lamb but I think that's because a lot of people can't afford it 😬

I realise that sounds completely bitchy but unfortunately probably true 😂🙃

My local ASDA had re-stocked with chicken. I got a pack of five chicken breasts. I made one meal on Saturday and the other meal is marinating in the fridge.

I have a pack of chicken thighs. Some I will roast, some I will casserole next week. No need to buy more chicken breasts yet.

Our local butcher was running out of chicken the Friday the schools shut! Goodness knows where it all went?

I got a whole chicken in Sainsbo - after queueing for an hour in the car park on a very cold morning, then queueing for 30 minutes to get to the checkout.

In people's freezers. My butcher has had to pay more and subsequently his prices have gone up 25p per breast with no offers on. He used to do 4 for £5 but I paid £7 for 4 yesterday.
