My kids are pulling their faces but I’ve sausages on the menu. They don’t want sausage and mash or home made chips.
Give me your amazing recipes??!

Thank you. My home made chips are nice. Ungrateful wretches grin

Sausages (chopped up) in a tomato sauce with pasta?
Toad in the hole?
Sausages in a bean & vegetable stew?

I could murder a hot chip sandwich Polka!

Squeeze the meat out of the skin and roll up, then you’ve got meatballs

Got any pasta? If so do sausage or “meatball” pasta bake

Toad in the hole

Stick the sausages in a roll, call it a hot dog

Also your dc are weird.... who turns down proper home made chips??

My kids love toad in the hole, and we use this recipe

We can have a lock down chip butty party

Polkadotpjs Tue 24-Mar-20 15:54:33

I’ll add toad in hole and sausage in sauce with spaghetti and that’s my final offer !

Made this last night. It’s yum!

I’d be tempted to tell them it’s blind fold dinner. Sit them at the table blind fold them and let them think it’s anything they fancy!

I think you have to take control, children do not dictate to you.
A chip butty is a fantastic thing, do you come from Bolton?
Back in the sixties, my folks used to treat us with fish and chips from Entwistle St in Bolton every Friday night and I really loved the chip butties.
Could you make a curry sauce for the sausages?

If you try any sausge recipe ever, pleeeeease try this:
www.redonline.co.uk/food/recipes/a500232/jools-oliver-s-pregnant-pasta/

I could eat it day after day (and sometimes do!)

I don't other blitzing the fennels seeds, I love them whole, and I top with fresh basil & lots of parmesan or similar <3
