Think the main problem is the husband who has a go at you, to be honest, not the range of meals!

Casseroles
Enchiladas
Home made soups
Peri peri chicken with chips /rice
Home made breadcrumbed fish
Add fish to a Mac Cheese if he won’t eat veggie - though personally I would insist on at least one veggie night a week.
Chicken Kiev

BBC Good Food is a great website for recipe ideas. And I can recommend Mary Berry Quick Meals book, we use it a lot in our house.

How about he cooks one of these magical different meals that also appeals to everyone's tastes and isn't too onerous for a large family, if he's so quick to complain?

@AtleastitsnotMonday Hoppin John is a rice & bean dish made with ham hock - popular in the southern states of America. It's really nice!

How bloody rude of him!! I’d be telling him to sod off and that if your meals aren’t good enough or exciting enough, he can bloody well cook for himself! I’m angry for you OP, you’ve got enough to deal with cooking for 6 children, never mind a 7th.
FWIW, these are our family favourites:
Roast dinner
Shepards pie
Spaghetti bolognese
Lasagne
Fajitas/crispy chicken wraps
Beef/lamb/chicken burgers
Chinese chicken curry
Gammon, egg and chips
Chicken thighs with garlic roasted veg
Pork/lamb chops with mash or new pots and veg
Braised steak in gravy with mash and minted peas

Wtf is wrong with you @Lynda07? The OP was asking for meal suggestions, not commentary on whether her English is correct. Biscuit
