New pans!

I need to replace all my pans - saucepans and frying pans. Could anyone recommend a particular brand which is good for non-stick cooking and not crazily heavy?

I've been loving my newish Circulon pot, and I'm aiming to replace things with more Circulon as they wear out.

Why go for non-stick? They wear out. We bought some very good stainless steel (with encapsulated bases) make by Kuhn Rikon. My wife was very sceptical but absolutely loves them.....far better than the old non-stick ones we had before. Probably worth buying one really good quality non-stick coated pan for making sauces (or heating baked beans), but even then, Delia Smith recommends the 'Little Gem' saucepan that has no non-stick coating at all.

For non-stick, I always have Circulon. They last well, though not indefinitely. That's only for frying pans though. For saucepans, I think stainless steel are better I don't have an issue with sticking now that mine are well used. I have a Meyer set that I got on an amazing deal at least 17 years ago, and are still in perfect condition.

I guess I just thought non stick was the most useful but I suppose maybe I could just have the frying pans non-stick....

Try anodised pans rather than non stick. I always find non stick costing doesn’t last very well. I have some “neverstick” pans. Pricey but so worth it

I have the John Lewis pan set too and think it's great. Good quality and excellent price.

Circulon or we have Tefal ones that have handles that click on and off which are fabulous
