I can’t buy normal sliced bread due to allergies so breakfast cereals have been a good source of vitamins, being fortified.
Waitrose seem to have discontinued their rice and wheat flakes which I liked, could eat (no allergens for me) and were fortified.
I’ve been searching for a replacement multigrain flakes cereal (and actually would like one with oats in it) and the only ones I’ve found that aren’t too sweet tasting aren’t fortified.
I wish I could find fortified porridge oats but have googled to no avail.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I can’t stand the texture of readybrek which is what DD has for breakfast (on the direction of her dietitian as DD has allergies which mean she needs fortified breakfast cereal).
I know the easy answer is to take a multivitamin but my allergies preclude a lot of them as they’re bound with legume products that I’m allergic to; also a multivitamin is yet another thing to remember to do.
