Hi all.
Desperate for some help - useless with maths but making a large wedding cake.
3 tiers each made up of 4 layers - I am confident with stacking and dowelling - thank god!
The problem I have is that I don't know how many times to multiply each recipe to do this so I can order my ingredients etc well in advance!
Potentially cake as a reward for those who can help!
- Trickiest one as the recipe is for a loaf cake at 2lb but I made a 4 layer 8 inch stack before with this recipe by doubling the recipe if that helps! I need this tier to be 12' round
- Gingerbread needs to be 10' round and 4 layers
- Lemon & elderflower needs to be 8' round and 4 layers
Here are my chosen recipes - tried them all and very tasty.
