Is this mixed beef ok to eat?

It was frozen on Christmas Eve and has been defrosting in the fridge all day. It is brown on the outside and pink inside. It has a slight smell if I sniff it but that may just be what minced beef smells like normally. I've googled and there is info about mince being ok if pink outside and brown inside but not the other way round!

Is this mixed beef ok to eat?

Gross, glad I am a vegetarian. Doesn't look good, I wouldn't eat it.

Yeah, it's just oxidised on the outside. I'd eat it (once cooked obv!)

Yes, this is normal. Will be fine to eat.

It's normal. Totally normal. It's because it hasn't been sealed.

Yes, that’s completely normal.

Beef often loses some blood on the outside when left, so it's normal for it to look like that.

As to smell, it often smells too, because the blood smells 'off' more quickly as it leaks out, especially when in plastic or another container without drainage (we regularly have this debate because where we live, the butcher puts your meat in a plastic bag Hmm).

The proof of the pudding is just to put it in the pan. If it stinks then, then it's off. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry.
