Meals to freeze

Mine and dhs jobs have both recently increased in hours and as a result we have found it harder to find time to cook. I’m after some meals we can prep, freeze and then just reheat please.
I’ve got shepherds pie, fish pie, chile, meat balls, lasagne, bolaganise. Anything else that freezes well?

Moroccan tagine
Plain tomato pasta sauce you can add veg or meat to
Lentil ragu
Raw marinated chicken, defrost night before then cook and it has a nice sauce

I find cooked chicken doesn't freeze very well

Curry- meat or veg
Soups, with lentils so hearty enough for dinner
All in one stews with loads of veg (beef/chicken)
Dahl- freeze with naans to serve

Stews freeze brilliantly. I often make one with the leftover Sunday roast, portion it down and freeze it with Yorkshire Puddings.

TBH, I find most things freeze well except pasta, which just goes mushy.

If you have a slow cooker, that will be a godsend during the winter as you can bung all the ingredients in in the morning, turn it on and dinner will be ready when you get gone

Fish pie
Pork tenderloin in cider with lots of mushrooms, shallots, apple.
Beef bourguignon
Coq au vin
Chicken chasseur
Sausage casserole
Basically anything saucy!

I also batch cook fishcakes and falafels for quick dinners

Basically anything with a decent amount of liquid to protect everything.

I like to make the sauce for curry, like korma or for paneer, then add the chickpeas and paneer when I heat it up.

Dal freezes great.

Oh and you can batch cook and portion out rice as well.

I cook 2kg of brown rice in massive pot, then portion out into bags and cool with ice blocks (as you must cool rice quickly, and reheat thoroughly) and then pack them into the freezer.

Microwave to reheat.

Some really good ideas there, thank you. Some things I hadn’t thought to freeze like curry.
I also make fish cakes and hadn’t thought of freezing these. Would you freeze them in greaseproof paper to separate them out?
@AtleastitsnotMonday the pork tenderloin in cider, that sounds nice, how would I make it please?

Freeze stuff like fishcakes flat on a baking tray. When solid you can pack them up and they won't stick much.
