Thinking of giving DH one for Christmas - I want one that collects the juices.

Can any one recommend one? Should it have spikes?

Am all at sea. Thank you

I think ones with spikes are better as they keep the joint in place whilst carving - and definitely one with little “channels” to collect the juices
I’ve got a nice wooden Salter one which looks good on the table (but does need washing by hand)

I've got the Joseph Joseph Cut & Carve in black - does the job & costs around £15.

Second the plastic option. Wood is a bore to clean, and the metal spikes one, although efficient, I think causes too much juice loss.
