I have totally over committed to hosting a cocktail evening tonight (overseas so have a little more time on my side) for a couple of friends. In theory I thought I would have time to plan and shop but its been quite a week!

Does anybody have a fruity/sparkly/Xmassy cocktail idea I can easily put together. I can dash out today (with kids in tow so pref not too many ingredients!) I only have dark rum at home currently so any ideas where that is used extra helpful... thanks!

If you like raspberry then glass of Prosecco (or any fizz$ with dash of Chambord liqueur.

Lovely.

Gin fizz. The fizz is the mixer. You'll be shit faced in no time!

Espresso martini. Just needs vodka, coffee liqueur (kahlua) and coffee. I like the stoli salted caramel vodka for this. Or a shot of it neat!

Hot buttered rum

Mix up brown sugar, butter, and some spices into a nice paste. Then serve each drink with a scoop of the concoction, a shot of rum, and hot water.
