Butcher’s sausages bought on Saturday - yay or nay?

The title says it all really.

Sausages bought at the butchers on Saturday and kept in the fridge.

Would you cook and eat them today?

I would smell them first and if they smell of in any way then I would chuck them. If they smell ok or you can't smell anything then cook them well and enjoy.

Hmm. They smelled a bit alcohol-y when they started cooking and I've just bitten into one and I'm really not convinced that they're ok.

Decided not to risk it.
