Gluten free

Hi,
Having a gluten free party on Sunday. All food in the ‘free from’ ranges I am buying however, I have come across ‘normal’ food that has gluten free on it e.g birds eye waffles, tesco honey and pork sausages etc which is great but never in the ‘free from’ range so it’s just by chance I've noticed and come across this.
Do you know of any food that is gluten free but not the this range? Thank you.

Are you after party type food?

Pretty much all meat, fruit and veg is fine. Lots of sausages etc are g/free, and M & S pretty much ensure all of their stuffing, sausages etc are.

Yes there will be lots if things that are naturally gluten free but cant be put in the gluten free section. The burgers I buy are gluten free

If all else fails just serve pom bears

Stacks if things are gf, (but not labelled as such and don't get the mark up) look for the gf symbol on the label.

Yes buffet food if possible. It’s a birthday so don’t want all the Christmas stuff that is coming out at present.

The ones we buy are from Asda but I'm sure other places would do gluten free too

If the guests are coeliac OP I would check extremely carefully and would advise caution that although there is no gluten listed in the ingredients, that they are not made in a factory that handles other gluten containing products and don't say MAY contain etc. Burgers are easy to find in m&s and waitrose, they label them as Gluten free on the front though they are in the meat section.

I'd Google 'accidentally gluten free' and have a look through the results, or check he coeliac UK website for ideas perhaps. They often list GF foods.

From September 2019, all of Co-op’s fishcakes and breaded fish became gluten free standard. It’s not a ‘special gluten free range’ either – these are their regular fishcakes and haddock goujons… and they’re the same price as everyone else would pay.
Pringles are another thing that aren’t gluten free… unless you go to Lidl.
Don’t make the same mistake I almost did and assume that the same product is also accidentally gluten free in Aldi too – they’re not. They have a may contain. Lidl Doritos and Monster Munch are also ok.
Tesco onion bhajis, mozerella sticks, jalapeño peppers with cream cheese, and bubble and squeak bites are all GF and are kept in the freezer aisle with all the party food/finger food like spring rolls, sausage rolls etc.
Most of the Asda frittatas are GF.

Lidl own brand pringles.
Plenty of crisps are but don’t get anything Walkers brand, they’re all a “may contain”.

Hummus and stuff like carrot sticks, cucumber.

I know you said no Xmas party food but co-op Xmas party food range is pretty much all gf.
