Birthday Cake Recipe

Any ideas for a delicious birthday cake recipe? It needs to be made two days before the party and cannot be citrus or coffee flavour. It is for by DM so want something a bit special but reasonably easy to make.

i love this link carrot cake recipe, with cream cheese frosting. its a layer cake, so looks special and you can put edible flowers on top for decoration. you can also freeze and then defrost it around 24 hours before you want to eat it, just make sure it is in an airtight container x
