What UK food would someone in Canada like?

I have a Secret Santa (food related) and want to send a hamper over to Canada. My question is what would a Canadian like that they can’t get there?

My cousin loves Jaffa cakes! Also proper nice cheese but that might not get through customs!

Squash,(as in the stuff you add to water). But that might be too heavy so the concentrated stuff you just add a couple of drops of.
Also flavoured crisps, British flavours are loads better.

Squash - yes I’ll get those little travel bottles so they can try them all. Monster munch for crisps or shall I go hard with my fave beef and mustard brannigans?

I’ve never had pickled walnuts!!! Am I missing out?

How about a bottle of sparkling English wine, can they get that there? Will it get through customs?

Christ, they won't thank you for instant coffee Grin. No-one drinks it here. We can get most things - PG Tips, birds custard powder etc.

What we can't get (or only in special British shops) are quintesentially British snacks - think skips/quavers/twiglets/fruit pastilles/flakes/custard creams/mince pies.

Don't send booze - we're not even allowed to send it over provincial borders so i doubt you can send it over

I just got a big box of Fox's chocolate biscuits for christmas at the British shop last week.

Instant coffee is the one thing my Canadian friend takes back with her.

Isn't it nice that we don't all like the same thing?

ok fair enough. I don't know a single person that drinks it. They're pretty picky about their coffee round these parts

My in-laws love to try the weird and wonderful flavour crisps we have. Brussels sprout and Christmas tree flavour went down oddly well last year!

My sister lives in Canada and always asks for galaxy chocolate, the chocolate over there ( according to her) is rubbish, ours is creamier, so I send her parcels of it over

The thing I miss the most is (strangely) taramousalata from the supermarket. Very far to find here outside a Greek restaurant!

The other thing is prawn cocktail crisps.

We can get the exact same instant coffee over here by the way but I agree I don’t know anyone who drinks it!
