Do I bake a pre-baked pastry case again for a fruit tart? Help!

No amount of googling on my phone is helping I either get shopping websites or advice on blind baking a home-made pastry, There's not even any advice on the pre-baked pastry case I bought I thought it might be underneath the label but it isn't. I basically want to do a cheat, going to use custard and whipped cream with vanilla and put fresh fruit on top with a jelly glaze. Need it for tomorrow lunchtime so thought I might layer the bottom with chocolate so that it doesn't go through. Really need to get on with it and absolutely stuffed for good advice really hoping mumsnet can come through. Thanks in advance. Can't believe how hard it is to get decent results in google anymore. I wish I had family/a granny/friends or I'd ring them. Such is life!

If its already baked and none of your additions need baking then I wouldn't have thought you need to bake it again

No, for what you're doing you don't bake it again.

No, you don't need to bake it again. this Google result from asda says that it's ready to fill, I presume the same applies to other brands too.

No need with the filling you describe, those pre-baked cases are pretty sturdy too, so I wouldn't be overly concerned about a 'soggy bottom'

Thanks all. I'm a newbie and can't work out to reply all. Only just getting to it. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks for the reassurance xx

Oh my days. Finished. That's 1'20"! Supposed to be a cheat. I did it tho. Whew. I'll let you know how it holds up. Not going to be eaten until 1pm tomorrow. So I lined it with melted chocolate! Fingers crossed. If anyone want the recipe let me know, but I guess, not til we know it holds together. Lol. Off to bed no! Thanks!
