Has anyone got one? Do you use it? Is it useful? What kind if so! Thanks a million!

Yep, I bought one last year. I've only done leek and potato and veg soup, both really nice. I need to get more adventurous!

Yep, bloody love it. I've got a Morphy Richards Saute one. It's fab! Saute your onions, herbs or whatever. Chuck in your veg and stock and then 21 minutes later you have got lovely, blended soup. You can have chunky of course if you don't want blended. No standing stirring a pan and no stick blender splattering soup everywhere.

Apart from my Instant Pot it is my most regularly used kitchen gadget.

When I make soup there's very little stirring involved. Mostly sees to itself once it's simmering. I don't find my stick blender makes a mess either unless the pan is too full. I would be concerned a soup maker would be just another gadget taking up space. Are they easy to clean?

Magic ingredient for any soup in your soup maker is a large tablespoon of full fat Philadelphia blended in, makes it wonderfully creamy without making it sickly.

I really wouldn't bother, it's an expensive saucepan. Cut veg and saute with some butter with lid on, no stirring involved. I usually leave it for about 15 mins, add some stock and then blitz with a stick blender which takes all of a minute tops.
