Okay so me and my best friend have been on about foods from years ago.....

Why the hell have they discontinued half of them because they was amazing!!!!!!!!
Feel so sad googling all the old foods that we can't get no more and I keep googling and finding more and more each time
I remember how good they all was it's made me so hungry for them all!
I'm pregnant and stressed out atm so I need these foods in my life haha someone find me a gene lamp!

I could genuinely eat them all right now
We need these back 😩😩😩😩😩💔💔💔💔💔

Why do they discontinue the BEST foods !?!?

I liked the Extra thin mint sheets , i remember been gutted when I had taken a pack out of my pocket in the bathroom and my DM had a bath , the condensation made them all gooey .
I did not like Panda pops , we were a Trendy pop house

Aldi do a decent version of the chocolate snaps.

I really miss Irn Bru bars 😢

@SamBeckett it's sad isn't it just why discontinue all of them for no reason? And tbh we never had pop in the house! So if my Nan ever gave me money when she visited it was a pick and mix, 5p freddo and a bottle of that pop without my mum not knowing (unless the mouth die didn't wash as quick as I wanted before I had to be home) hahaha!!!
I loveddddddd the strawberry and cream sweets. I could eat a bag right now xx

I was just thinking about Caramac Kitkats the other day, I loved them. I would love Mingles back too.

I miss the old Time Outs with the bit of chocolate running through the middle, Time Out wafers just aren’t the same. I think Fuse bars are well overdue a comeback. People always talk about Secret bars but I thought they tasted cheap and nasty.

I used to get a bar of chocolate that had a raspberry or strawberry cream filling a bit like a Quality Street Strawberry cream which was gorgeous. I can’t remember what it was called but it would have been late 80s/90s.

I can remember cheese Hula Hoops as well from the 80s/90s they were called something like NY cheddar.

The raspberry cream chocolate bar, was it a Ruffle?

If it’s really expensive or complex to produce then that can be a reason, if sales aren’t high enough that retailers say they don’t want it any more or the manufacturer might have to remove it in order to get another product selling in that store

Pigeon - B&M have got Fry's raspberry creams in at the moment. 3 for £1. They are really good.

I miss Chicken Tonight Peppercorn sauce.

@schwibble Chocolate Lovely! I wish they would make those again, they were so good. I used to like to eat them frozen, especially the little cream flower thing.

They don't discontinue products for no reason, @Sweetpeach3! They will have been unprofitable for the manufacturer.

How about the natural foods that you can no longer obtain?

Lambs' hearts are difficult - Waitrose seem to have stopped stocking them.

Brains as well - haven't seen them in UK for many years.

Pigs' head to make brawn ?

.

Brains impossible in the UK

@handbagsatdawn33 That's simple though - albeit sad. They don't stock those things any more because people don't buy them.

A lot more people these days are vegan or veggie so I guess the need for a heart an brain etc isn't needed
An tbh the thought of heart or liver off an animal repulses me but I'm sure butchers do it? I'm happy to settle with normal mince, beef and chicken breast.
