breaded fish

Suddenly on all of the packets of breaded fish the only recommended way of cooking is by oven which i find very dry. Why is shalllow frying not recommended any more.

I hadn't noticed that.
When I cook breaded fish, I always lightly spray it with oil, never found a problem with dryness.

OP, probably because of the Food Police. They have to put the health notices on packets and indicate the amount of fats and carbohydrates present, which will be thrown completely out by frying in fat. They cover themselves by eliminating that pothole.
