Fizzy Jelly - can this be made?

I'd like to make a jelly that's fizzy when it's eaten. If I made a normal jelly, but melted the cubes with half the boiling water, then left to cool, then mixed with half the lemonade (maybe add some fresh fruit) - would this be fizzy when eaten?

I don't think it'll work, which is why I'm asking the experts here. If it did work, I'd like to try it with Prosecco rather than lemonade. Anybody tried something like this?

No because the fizz comes from air?
But I think you could have a fizzy on the tongue effect by adding something acidic/ sherbetish?

My ex-SIL used to make lime jelly with half vodka half lemonade and they were lush and fizzy.

this recipe sugguests it is. I think the alcohol in Prosecco will make it harder to set - might need longer/colder than usual.

It does taste fizzy if you mix it with lemonade and I am guessing prosecco, though my dc's parents probably wouldn't like me doing that. I melt the jelly in the microwave for a minute, no water then add lemonade instead of water immediately while jelly still hot and mix well.

I use third of the water and leave to cool. Then make up with cold lemonade. Always fizzy and gets compliments!

Works well - I've done one with summer fruits and Prosecco - think it's s Jamie Oliver recipe - works well.

It does go fizzy with lemonade, but cannot be made in advance because it loses the fizz quickly, so only good that day.
