So I need some ideas of meals I can make to keep in fridge and reheat the next day for the days I finish late at work and need give the kids their dinner quick
Something like shepherds pie I can just stick in the oven to warm back up?

Any ideas/recipes welcome 😁

irish stew

chicken kofta meatballs, you can then put them into pitta pockets with salad

fish pie which you can make in advance, and store uncooked in the freezer

Pasta bake, mac and cheese, lasagne, chili, meatballs and spaghetti, sasuage and mash, curry etc.

Pretty much everything can be reheated. We will often make extra for dinner and then reheat it for lunch the next day. I also make dinner for the weekend on a Friday and then we just reheat as weekends are a bit manic for us and it’s too easy to just buy a takeaway or fast food.

You could also make lots of meals and stick them in the freezer. An easy way to do that is if you have shepherds pie for instance, just double or triple up and stick the extra in the freezer.

I'd use the freezer. Make a batch of something & freeze in single portions. Anything that is sort of "casseroley".
My fave is ragu :- spuds on top for cottage pie, pasta underneath for bolognese, lasagne or moussaka if you've got a bit more time.

Chickpea tagine. Quick to heat up in a saucepan or microwave and best served with couscous which takes no longer than 10 minutes to prepare. It keeps for a while in the fridge (flavours actually improve over time) and leftovers can be frozen. It can be made meaty with lamb meatballs or leftover roast chicken //www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/healthy/moroccan-veg-and-chickpea-tagine/
