I've just found a bag I forgotten about Blush

I'm thinking a family cake, rather than a pudding? What are your best apple cake recipes?

We had to do a roman project for school. We made a roman apple cake
It was amazing, unusual and really delicous. Easy aswell.

Look at the meemaw eats one, if you google it.

Dorset Apple cake is lovely. Can be eaten when still warm or when cold.

Oooh yum - Dorset apple cake! I use this recipe, it's delicious:

Or maybe get started on Christmas mincemeat? 3-4 months for it to mature nicely.

Use 8oz flour, 2 oz brown sugar, 4oz margarine and 2 eggs plus 6oz cut up apple (small), 1oz raisins, 1tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp baking powder. Makes either 12 muffins or an 8 inch cake

I use this Dorset apple cake, it’s great (although I don’t bother with the almonds on top, I generally put some sliced apple in a decorative pattern instead).

Apple Sharlotka: smittenkitchen.com/2012/01/apple-sharlotka/

Chop the apples, put them in a cake tin, mix the batter and pour over the top. In the oven and done!

I've made this several times and it's always come out well.
