Horrible wet and windy day here. I have a notion to make a really good curry for us later on. What's your best recipes? Nothing too hot. But craving something delicious and flavoursome! Can be veggie or not. Will do the works, naan etc. Thanks!

I love Schwartz slow cooker chicken curry sachets. They make a really easy curry. Saves all the messing with spices

Fresh India butter paneer. As good as anything you get in a restaurant.

Nigella's mattar paneer is good, but you need to up the spice levels.

Jamie Oliver has a couple of good veggie ones.

This is the best korma recipe. Lovely and rich and well spiced. Perfect for days like today.

Linda Lusardi's Malaysian beef curry (she made it on Masterchef) is one of my fave curries ever. I sometimes make it with sweet potatoes instead of white ones and it's just delicious. Not too hot, really aromatic. And really easy. I make it with casserole or skirt steak and just simmer it a bit longer until tender.

You could do it without a slow cooker it's only a spice sachet. Great when you dont have the time to get stuck into a recipe

Meera Sodha's sweet potato vindaloo is very good. Her ox cheek one is fantastic too.

Generally use Meera and Maunika Gowardhan for curry recipes - Maunika's butter chicken is great, love her chicken Pulao and one (or possibly both)of them do a great Railway curry.

Meera - her whole roast cauliflower is great and her baked bhajis are awesome

My Dh made paneer once - he was sceptical as for what felt the longest time nothing was happening and he nearly gave up then as if by magic it all happened at once and lo - cheese was formed!

This was the recipe he followed maunikagowardhan.co.uk/cook-in-a-curry/how-to-make-paneer-homemade-indian-cottage-cheese/
