Halogen Oven?

Having house remodeled and found out today that new cooker will not be delivered for another 3 weeks (we have already been without any kitchen for 2 weeks) - I can not face another micro meal or takeaway.

By the beginning of next week I should actually have work surfaces so at least I can use my slow cookers again - yeay! BUT trying to prep for slow cooker in rooms full of dust is not really appealing to me if I have to do it every day either so anyone have a Halogen oven? Seen for about £50 for decent size with accessories but not sure what the are really like or if it is worth the money for 3 weeks (although if it is any good may use instead of oven when it finally arrives)?

I had one, & it stopped working about a week after the year's guarantee expired! I only used it about twice a week.

You will still have to prepare food to put in a H.O. , same as your S.C.

I'm planning a new kitchen, & think I can cope with my slow cooker, microwave & airfryer on a table in the lounge.

I have one, love it, probably use it 2-3 times a week alongside regular oven depending on what I'm making.

We love ours, we only use the proper oven for pizza now.

gowgow I waited 14 years to have house remodeled - it is an absolute nightmare - 3 rooms are currently under renovation and everything from those rooms is now in the other including my tiny living room.

The dust is unreal - its a bit like childbirth, everyone warned me but you just don't know until you know and then it's too late

hhmmm may hold off until finished and then get one to use instead of oven when it's just me and dh instead now.
