Dhal recipe

I'm going to try dhal again after a not very nice attempt put me off a few years ago.

I have a slow cooker...

Anyone got any reliable recipes I could try??

This is the one I do when I've got a bit of time and don't mind a bit of faff

but when I want something a bit quicker then this one is almost as good www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3147681/baked-potatoes-with-spicy-dhal and it's quicker (it says an hour but if you don't do the baked potatoes then it's faster

I’ve got a great one someone posted on here but I don’t know anything about slow cookers so might not work?

We like this Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall one, www.thebookseller.com/feature/hugh-fearnley-whittingstalls-dahl-339097. It's really easy, takes maybe 25 mins in a normal pan. My 11-year-old has cooked it herself a couple of times now.
