To make them reaaly good add marshmallows as you melt the choc. I think they need a bit of butter too so they set better.

No no! I tried that and it doesn't work then I found this recipe by Tara Palmer Tomkinson of all people in a charity recipe book.

1/4 pack of butter
3 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp cocoa powder
100g cornflakes

Melt first 3 ingredients together then stir in cornflakes.

Yummy and gooey. This is also a good base for Tiffin where you add crushed digestives, raisin, dried fruit, nuts, whatever you fancy and press into a tin.

OOOO the marshmallows always work - they are yummy. Add a handful as you melt the choc.( The little ones you put inhot choc)

megalegs

thanks, i will use that recipe but with cornies and not crispies

Hot choc powder has sugar in so usually mucks up a recipe. Might be ok here though as no baking involved.

1 oz butter
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp icing sugar

Melt butter and syrup, take off heat and stir in cocoa and icing sugar, then just chuck in rice crispies/cornflakes until they're all coated. Really dark and sticky!

You need to add two tbsp of baby formula - trust me!
