Would you chance eating this chicken?

I bought some fresh chicken breasts that had the expiry date on them on the day that I bought them. (Got them half price)

Put them straight in the freezer. On Sunday night I took them out of the freezer and placed them in the fridge to defrost ready for tea on last night (Monday). The chicken was still frozen so we couldn't eat them. They have stayed in the fridge and are now fully defrosted. Would you eat them for tea tonight? I have no sense of smell so I can't smell them.

I'm just worrying slightly as I put them in the freezer on their expiry date!

I wouldn’t risk it just to save a bit of money but then again, I’m funny about chicken!

As long as you cook them sufficiently they will be fine.

I'd personally use them & have done exactly this in the past.

I would use them unless they feel really sticky.

I’d use them. But, I’m the sort to eat yoghurts a month out of date.

Yeah, they'll be fine!

Another yes.
You've stored and defrosted correctly so they'll be fine.
