Hi lovely people....

I had never baked in my life when I baked these brownies so I consider this to be the holy grail brownie recipe .... I'm baking them today & will post pics. If any of you are interested in the recipe let me know.

P.S these brownies are to die for, everyone who has one is like ' gimme more' 😋

Done them : )

Deliciously squidgy, very heavy & not dry.

Although DP's only job was to get them out of the tins, he struggles to get them out without breaking them 👊🏻

And apparently the mouse in the house ate one whilst he was in charge of transferring to the tin.... that old chestnut eh 🙄

Pics to follow including close up so you can see how erm 'moist' they are - hate that word!

Revenue, not repetitive. Although, repetitive brownies would be handy 😁

The BBC Good Food best ever brownies recipe is the only one you need, which is helpful as OP is being elusive!

I've made some before with an ernormous amount of netella, they were lovely but I think it was basically Nutella, butter and flour. I'll have a look at BBC tee pie, thanks flugelhorn.

DD is testing a new recipe now. It has to be vegan plus nut/gluten free for the group she's making it for. Fingers crossed it's actually edible!

My sister is a great baker but she gets most praise for her brownies. Good old Betty Crocker!

I made those GoodFood Brownies, they were very nice. But I have the gift of Brownie Making so my brownies are ALWAYS nice.

it makes up for all those years I could not get Yorkshire puddings to work. I have recently been able to reliably make massive yorkies too so I really ought to have my own show on BBC2

I would love the recipe. Brownies are the food of the Gods.

RabbitseatDogs my orthodontist was called Gordon Bennett many years ago!

@RabbitseatDogs I've made them for colleagues a few times and they love them. I'm actually quite naughty and sometimes double the quantity of white and milk choc chunks in them.

Another delicious recipe is Poires au Chocolat's salted caramel brownies, but they're a little more tricky.

Where did op go? Strange.

Walkamile that's really funny, I don't know where Gordon Bennet came from, my parents used to say it.
Flugelhorn
I might give them a go later. I can't find the Nutella one I did before but it was so ridiculously easy and really few ingredients.

I'm waiting for a not allowed link to op's blog or something.

Maybe OP’s brownies are of the space cake variety and she is currently off her head and unable to report back

RabbitseatDogs · 29/05/2019 20:47

I think Greenglass has it. Should have worn off by now though?
