Curry too hot...any solutions?

I've just made a lentil dahl and accidentally added too much 'easy chilli.' I'm a bit of a wimp and it's really hot - I've just downed two pints of water!

Can I do anything to salvage the other three portions?!

Add more tomatoes/stock/coconut milk and lentils to water it down, maybe some honey too ?

When it's too spicy DD has either scoop of creme fraiche or once when we didn't have any she put a dollop of Philadelphia cream cheese which she said was delicious!

Do you have more lentils to make more and then mix them so that it is only half as strong.

Add coconut/natural yoghurt or cream - and drink milk with it when you eat it, water just makes it worse.

Make a plain batch, mix the two together and freeze the portions.
You could go down the add yoghurt route but the chilli will still avenge you .... on the way out 🥵

Got to be something with fat in it to tone down a curry. Water/tomatoes/sugar/stock won't work.

Yoghurt (not 0%) Philadelphia, cream, creme fraiche, a big dollop of butter, anything fatty like that, will all help. Pick a couple of these to be on the safe side. Fat is the only antidote to chilli. Don't drink water - drink milk.
