Biscuits that keep or even improve after a few days

We’re away this weekend and will be popping in on friends on the way back home. I’d like to take them some homemade biscuits, which I’ll need to bake on Thursday night to give them on Sunday.

Can anyone suggest any recipes that will keep well for that period of time, or maybe even improve over the few days like brownies do?
